Restoration

The R65, R45 and the R65LS are completely different bikes, compared to the other BMW’s. The engine has a short stroke crank shaft and the frame is shorter. This makes this bike one of the best handling BMW’s ever built.

We discovered the bike on the back of a pick-up on its way to town for sale. We bought it on the spot for R2500 and had to sign a contract that we bought the bike “voetstoots”. It was 100% original but rusted and the wiring eaten by a mouse from standing 25 years in a barn.
